📺 I watched The Legend of the Rangers (a B5 TV movie) tonight with my kid. It was pretty hilarious. We're on the home stretch of our watch through now. 〰️ Love this universe so much. But this was difficult to watch. Saved only by the presence of G'Kar.

Mental health / crisis / getting help

I’ve been speaking with a crisis service this week. The paranoia / mental health situation has been overwhelming. I’m such a mess. It really helped to talk with someone today. Speaking to them again in a week.

🎬 I just saw The Road. One of the most depressing films I’ve ever seen. Seriously very heavy going in places. Not a bad film. But nearly turned it off a few times.

🌅 The sky is blowing my mind this morning! I'm taking some pictures from my window. I'm seeing beautiful gradients of hues, but this camera is capturing greater detail in structure and colour contrast than I can see with the naked eye. It's amazing!

I'm pretty happy I can create Alt Text for images in Craft now. I feel a bit conflicted about using AI but I'm happy to edit and I’m not publishing it without consideration.

It was honestly a bit of a roadblock for me to think about writing my own Alt Text. It seems to require too many spoons sometimes.

Someone is sending groceries orders to my address this morning. One delivery came before 6am and another just after 7.

I don’t know if it’s a bad joke or what. The drivers had the correct address but I never heard of the person who ordered.

This has caused me some distress to say the least.

Two car loads of police turned up and went to visit one of my neighbours just now. I think my experience this morning might have been a side effect of some lively folks that live around here.

Last night was my early-to-bed-and-catch-up-on-sleep-night and it was thoroughly destroyed by ~~whatever that was~~. I am sleep deprived and seriously low on spoons after being sick this past week. And just having a shitty time recently with my mental health.

I did eventually doze off for another hour and I feel a lot better for it. Being woken up by someone at my door in the middle of the night – 6am is still dark and no one has any business with me at that time unless it’s an emergency – dumped a load of adrenaline into my body and set my heart racing so hard. It was really intense. Then it happened again an hour later.

I’m a delicate flower and I need some TLC. Seems really hard to do that when the crazy can come knocking at any moment. Whether it’s confused delivery drivers, unexpected bad news, or administrative demands and tight deadlines.

Please Universe. Just leave me be for a couple of weeks.
